'Match it now', in September the week dedicated to donating bone marrow and hematopoietic stem cells

Part 16 September 2017 "Match it now", the national week dedicated to donating bone marrow and hematopoietic stem cells.

In more than 180 Italian squares, animated by events, activities and events, you will be able to receive all the information about the donation and directly access the first screening required to sign up to the IBM Osseo-IBM Donor Registry. Volunteers from industry associations, doctors and healthcare staff will be available to all citizens to respond to the main concerns about donating hemopoietic stem cells.

The initiative, sponsored by the Ministry of Health and CONI, is promoted by the National Transplant Center, the National Blood Center, the Italian Registry of Italian Bone Marrow Donors and the ADMO and ADOCES Federations.

Again this year, "Match it now" will take place in the wider frame of the World Marrow Donor Day, which will be celebrated around the world on 16 September.

To enroll in the IBMDR Register, you must be between the ages of 18 and 35.

On the official website of the Week (www.matchitnow.it), the full program of the Week and all the squares involved in the event will be available shortly.

For social channels, the hashtag of the Week is #Matchitnow.
